BotuVital is a quick and practical alternative to assess sperm morphology and plasma membrane integrity. It’s based on eosin-nigrosine staining, in which nigrosine increases the contrast between the background and sperm heads, making it easier to visualize the eosin stains only dead sperm, turning them dark pink, while live sperm appears white. Solution for sperm evaluation based on eosin-nigrosine, allowing the analysis of sperm morphology and plasmatic membrane integrity under light microscopy, with a 100x immersion objective.
