Botucrio is the extender most used worldwide for stallion cryopreservation. The formula was designed after long years of research, fertility trials, and field tests. The extender aims to protect the stallion sperm from cryodamage and maintain fertility post-thawing.

After centrifugation, discard the supernatant and add BotuCrio directly to the sperm pellet at a concentration of 200 million sperm per mL. Pack and seal the straws. For the conventional freezing method, stabilize the straws at 5°C (41°F) for 20 minutes. Then, place the straws in nitrogen vapor (Styrofoam box), 3 to 6 cm above liquid nitrogen level for 20 minutes.
For thawing, the straws must be placed in a water bath at 37°C (98.6°F) for 30seconds or 46°C (114.8°F) for 20 seconds.
Observation: Botucrio, every batch is being field-tested for quality and functionality before being released for sale.

Store it frozen at -20ºC (-4°F). After thawing, keep it refrigerated at 5ºC (41°F) for up to 2 days.
