FREEZING OF DOG SPERM

After semen collection, centrifuge raw semen at 600X for 6 minutes. Discard the supernatant and resuspend the sperm pellet with BotuDog Freezing at an appropriate sperm concentration. Pack and seal the straws. Stabilize the straws at 5°C (41°F) for 1 hour. Then, straws should be frozen in nitrogen vapor (Styrofoam box), 3 cm above the liquid nitrogen level for 20 minutes. The straws must be placed in a water bath at 37°C (98.6°F) for 30 seconds for thawing.
Sugars, antioxidants, amino acids, egg yolk, cryoprotectant and vehicle.
Store it frozen at -20°C (-4°F). After thawing, keep it refrigerated at 5°C (41°F) for up to 2 days.
