This is achieved by separating the sperm by density centrifugation prior to insemination, freezing, IVF or semen sexing. EquiPure not only eliminates a high proportion of the abnormal spermatozoa but also removes the source of reactive oxygen species, most bacteria and many viruses (EAV). This significantly increases the sperm survival and their fertilizing potential.

EquiPure centrifugation prior to freezing removes bacteria and many viruses (EAV).
-Poor quality frozen semen: If the sperm to be treated are already frozen, thaw at 37ºC the straws, and wait for approximately 10 minutes prior centrifugation. Then, put the same volume of EquiPure (proportion 1:1). Example: In a tube of 15 mL, first add 2 mL of EquiPure (Bottom) 4 straws (2 mL) of semen (TOP) centrifuge 400 xg 20 minutes. Finally, resuspend the pellet with 1 to 2 mL of BotuCRIO.
